Field Services Recovery is a well-established, family-run vehicle recovery and roadside assistance company operating across the South West. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Roadside & Recovery Technician to join our Bristol Team

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll attend roadside breakdowns in a service van or recovery vehicle, assist customers at the roadside, safely and professionally.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Attending roadside breakdowns in a service van or recovery vehicle.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults at the roadside where possible.
• Carrying out battery replacements, jump starts, diagnostics and other roadside assistance.
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks and maintaining company equipment.
• Providing excellent customer service and representing Field Services Recovery in a professional manner.
• Participating in an on-call rota and undertaking overtime when required.

Essential Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with C+E Entitlement.
• Good mechanical knowledge and practical fault-finding ability.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A professional, reliable and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.

Desirable Skills

• Previous roadside assistance experience is preferred.
• Experience working on cars, vans or commercial vehicles.

Job Overview
We are looking to recruit a Breakdown Recovery Controller to join are team Saturdays & Sundays (08:00- 14:00), we are a small business specialising in Heavy Recovery Breakdowns within the UK.

The job role will involve:

• Accepting and dispatching recovery jobs
• Answering phone to our customers
• Providing ETAs
• Communicating job information updates
• Providing complete job management from start to finish.
• General office related duties.

Skills required:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong IT skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Able to work within a fast paced environment.
